THEHIPHOPDIVA.COM CONDUCTED A LIGHTENING ROUND OF 20 QUESTIONS WITH TAHIRY TO SHOW SHE’S MORE THAN JUST A SEXY BODY AND PRETTY FACE. SHE HAS SUBSTANCE.
HHD (HIPHOPDIVA): The world came to know you on JoeBuddenTV. Looking back on it are you happy with that decision?
TAHIRY: Yes, very happy. Don’t regret it at all.
HHD: Growing up what did you want to be?
TAHIRY: I remember going into Macy’s which was a huge, huge, huge store for me and wanting to be famous at 13. I grew up at 18 to realize I wasn’t tall and skinny to do the runway. From there my mom was very adamant about me pursuing that and being famous. I went to a couple of castings looking for a Latina. I graduated and I wanted to be a cop. My plan B was to be a police officer or go into any law enforcement field.
HHD: Do you consider yourself a sex symbol?
TAHIRY: It’s funny because everything that’s happened it hasn’t soaked in yet. I do.
HHD: What are you most attracted to in a man?
TAHIRY: If you look at the men I’ve dated everybody’s completely different. It’s that instant connection.
HHD: Right now what’s your favorite song that’s currently out?
TAHIRY: Usher “There Goes My Baby”
HHD: If you could be anything in the world what would you be?
TAHIRY: I’d probably like to be the Bill Gates in the female version. The ill dude who does all this computer geeky stuff.
HHD: What is your biggest regret if you have any?
TAHIRY: I have no regrets.
HHD: Are you still shy?
TAHIRY: I am but I’m coming out of my shell.
HHD: What do you like most about bartending?
TAHIRY: Music, men, and money.
HHD: If you had to choose, which female hip hop artist would you be?
TAHIRY: Right now, Nicki.
HHD: What would people be most surprised to know about you?
TAHIRY: I take long baths with my Maxwell, aromatherapy, and glass of wine.
HHD: When you do a photo shoot what are you thinking about?
TAHIRY: As shy as I am I surprise myself. The minute I walk in its lights, camera, action. Specifically, when I shot for KING it was my first photoshoot ever and I was nauseous in the morning. I was like I can’t do this. The minute I stepped in the building and they opened the door I saw about eight individuals I didn’t know. I had to be topless and I didn’t care if a nipple showed. It’s do or die. I handled my handle. The shyness goes away. I’m already in a thong, cottage cheese or no cottage cheese. i don’t think about anything but it’s do or die
HHD: What advice would you give to a 16-year-old girl who looks up to you?
TAHIRY: I would say to always have a plan. What a child needs is guidance. Have a Plan A, Plan B. Always have something to fall back on.
HHD: If you had to pick your all time favorite music artist who would that be?
TAHIRY: Wow! I have so, so many. Al Green…I’m into every type of music. I couldn’t specifically say one. Let’s just say I enjoy music from Al Green to Nicki Minaj and the Drakes.
HHD: Ten years from now what would you like to be doing?
TAHIRY: I’m trying to get my acting thing together. I would love to do comedy…pretty much be a household name and own a couple of businesses. I’d love to have my own strip club, my own restaurant. Building my brand and never leaving the business.
HHD: If your house caught on fire what would you make sure to save?
TAHIRY: Everybody that’s with me! (laughs) Everything is replaceable. Everything that’s material really doesn’t matter at the end of the day.
HHD: Who served as a role model to you as a girl?
TAHIRY: My mommy. My mommy’s a hardworking woman. She raised three very beautiful women and we’re all doing very well,. I didn’t know then but now that I look back I’m like how the hell did she go to school, work, and take care of us.

TAHIRY: Well I hated math but I was really good with numbers. You know money’s everything. I hated school to be quite honest I just knew I had to do it. Algebra was pretty much my thing.
